Cats’ relationship to mirrors can vary. My daughter was associafed wirh a cat that would look behind the mirror to see where the “real” cat was. She would also look at a ball in the mirror and experiment with putting out a paw and patting the real ball while looking at it in the mirror.

I had a cat once that would attack, or at a minimum hiss at, her image in the mirror.
