Had one cat, she would always know when I would lay down, I would sneak into the bedroom, lay down and in seconds she would be on my chest, purring. (Just thought why didn’t I close the door?)miss the o’cat.

@jim murph -Close the door? Then you get scratching or meowing all night until you open the door back up. You can’t win.

I go through the same routine with my boys, Tyler and Oliver! It is endearing.

If it was me, that cat would be history. There is no way on earth I could stop in mid-air like that. Lucky kitty! :-)

Step 1- pick up the cat. Step 2 – move the cat. Simple.

You do not smack the cat unless you want it to hate you and if it hates you it will make you suffer in other ways. You pick up the kitty, sit down with it in your lap, snuggle and love on it, then put it down on the floor.

Just like with Rose’s yoga ball dilemma on 2/20, it amazes me how wimpy some people can be. Cats see their humans as other, bigger cats, so why not act as they do? Mine sees me coming and gets ready to find another spot lest he become an orange pancake.

Been there, done that, except that I had to get used to sleeping through them playing all night. They were very young and boisterous and they held a gymnastics tournament every night.
