    I don’t rake the leaves, just leave them to rot and return to the soil. Much better for the environment, no plastic bags used.

    The only thing I’ll mark as incorrect is “in correct”. :) I’m more partial to the colors of fall. I suppose if we had cherry trees in our area I’d like spring more…

    I often mumble while I deal with the leaves. ‘Rake them by butt. It is time for mulching and liming.’ My neighbors think I am strange to mow up to the first snow fall.

    I remember people burning leaves in the street (gutter) when I was 5 or so. Riding a bike through leave piles was fun as long as I didn’t have to rake up the mess. :-)
