I remember one year for our anniversary going to Jamaica and doing that. It wasn’t exactly comfortable but we did it and took a pic for posterity! :P

Bill MartinIsland (and shipboard) hammocks also have rope along the sides so that soon the middle is longer than the sides. You don’t fall uphill as easily.
