I had two uncles who worked for the Highland Ice Cream Company back in New York State when I was little. Ah…an unlimited supply of Rocket Pops, Strawberry Shortcakes, Creamsicles, and Butter Brickle Ice Cream… “sigh”
I would rather have something more substantial, like an ice cream sandwich, Popsicles are nothing but flavored water. My friends owned the only Ice Cream Truck in Watervliet Michigan, around the time I was 10-19, all I can say is: that was great.
Mr. Softie had a double cone. You could have a swirling mound of vanilla and one of chocolate ice cream side by side in one cone. I’d take a double cone van/choc with plenty of sprinkles….or the Rocket Rainbow.
A whole plate of brownies for an ice pop. Not exactly an even trade. Now we know where Pasquale got his lemonade selling skills. Trading lemonade for useless things.
