Did she have to kill a tree? Just decorate a living tree.

She’s not obese. That’s what is called “hard fat” and it’s layered over sturdy muscle. And sleighs are the winter equivalent to hay wagons for rural transport.

Good job! But I think the wind might topple it.

Root-ball out-of-frame balanced the nicely symmetrical above-ground growth. She will disassemble and relocate the gazebo next spring.

What is all this whining about cutting live trees? You live in a house at least partially built of wood, furnished with wood tables and chairs with wood cabinets. You read and write on paper, wipe your butt with paper. Trees are renewable. Live trees are a kot better use than using valuable oil to make plastic trees or digging great pits for ore to make metal trees. Thinning out forests helps prevent wildfires. Most live Christmas trees are grown on tree farms. Old Chtist as trees are recycled for gardens and other uses.If you can replant a tree, great! If you have an artificial because of allergies, ok. But cutting down a tree should note be a reason for cancelling.
