I hate carpet cleaner demonstrations. They clean a freshly dirty carpet; Not a carpet that hasn’t been cleaned in weeks and has dirt ground into the pile.
I had a salesman who showed me his cleaning product could clean oil off my garage floor. Then he said " and it is safe for humans"- he took a swig out of the bottle of cleaner and spit it out.

It would be a shame if some accident would happen to your nice new carpet. Of course, I can assure you it wont happen if you buy my insurance policy.
