Major surgery on the throat. For 19 days I ate and drank nothing beyond an occasional ice chip. The first food I was able to eat was a few bites of baby food squash and carrots. The taste was out of this world.And no, Ice cream was a definite NO! I tried. It was like swallowing razor blades and glass shards.
