Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal by Zach Weinersmith for February 04, 2017
Transcript:
All jokes work the same way. You establish a logical order. Why did the chicken cross the road. Then, you break the order, while establishing a new, more chaotic order. To get to the other side. That's why I made this universe with increasing entropy. Entropy permits jokes. There are other universes where everything works easily. Order reigns. Death is unknown. But, they don't have that joke about the horse who walks into a bar, and the bartender says he's got a long face. So... Okay... So this universe has problems, but we have humor, so... This is the best of all possible worlds. Ahaha hahahaha hahahah ahaha!

Or maybe we’re just the set-up. In X million years, we’ll see the punchline. Y million years after that, rim shot.
