Yes the effects of puberty sound like a werewolf transformation. You grow taller, voice deepens, hair starts growing all over where it hasn’t before only you stay that way. Until you get older then you lose some and gain some hair like on the ears gain hair.
Werewolves can change whenever they want to. Only during full moons are they easily seen at night. “The Howling” does a good job of it.
