Space-god scared the poop out of the turtles and that poop became the earth. Then the turtles and space-god became friends and went to check out some other galaxies. Good thing they forgot to flush.
Most of the beginnings of indigenous peoples and those of the early Indo-Europeans weren’t much different. Odin and his brothers cut open some behemoth of the void and created some mess, … don’t remember all of it.
I’ll “respect” those religions, mainstream and indigenous, more when, if they or a member of their family falls sick, pray instead of getting medical attention. Faith is a belief in magic. Science is magic that works.
