I have seen young people texting at funeral home wakes, even playing games on their phones. I say nothing, it’s not my concern..It’s a different world than the one I grew up in. When I attended wakes and funerals then, I was terribly uncomfortable and squirmed around. My mother said, “Sit still! Your uncle is dead for Eternity. You can put up with a little discomfort for a few hours!”
