Red Alien Ant: At last! We meet again, here on the Field of Battle! Green Alien Ant: Yes! This field. Red Alien Ant: This deadly Razorfield! Filled with deadly monofilament grass. Green Alien Ant: Beautiful, deadly monofilament grass. And some clover! Red Alien Ant: So are dandelions weeds or flowers? Because I think they're pretty. Green Alien Ant: Technically they're weeds but I just leave them alone.

A long time ago, I took a tour bus to the station near the top of the volcano on Maui. By the side of the parkway: a dandelion. In the middle of the Pacific, at 10,000 feet altitude. So they probably will eventually appear on other planets.
