I have to agree with John, Dad’s always been pleasant to her when they meet up in the comic, complimented her, never said a bad thing about her to the kid (which she frequently does about him like right now), and always come right over when she calls with a problem that frequently she could and should have dealt with and I can’t remember a time when she’s said “thanks” . There might be some but she’s usually made a comment like this one.
