Clark Kent: You’re wrong. Yes, your parents’ parents are your grandparents, but your parents’ uncles and aunts are great, not grand. I don’t know why. That’s the rules of our language. Similarly, your grandparents’ parents are your great grandparents, not grand grandparents.
