I’m surprised by this. Wall Street is fine. Everybody else is fried.
Would you believe both fried and scrambled?
Yes. Fried, boiled, and scrambled. And then poached and consumed by someone else
And some bacon would be nice.

I like the “Lotto” sign on the door. That’s my retirement plan!
The odds of getting killed on one’s way to purchase a lottery ticket are far greater than winning the lottery.
I’d say it had been poached.
RCM… Not accorfing to Shirley Jackson.
What little it is worth is being inflation-taxed.
Come on, where’s the optimism? It was sunny side up!
That’s why I didn’t start a 401k with the new company when i started work with them last year. I’m using the extra cash to pay off my bills, and then I’ll be able to survive on less when I do retire.
“Poached” would have been a much better answer since it can also mean “stolen”…
