    Because computers do exactly what you tell them to, NOT what you want them to.

    (translation: you told it to darken part of a word- that’s not allowed)

    I wonder what she did to deserve that distinction.

    I’ve got to admitt I would never have thought of using my x’s mother-in-law as my password.

    Mormor incidentally (or not?) means grandmother in Danish and Norwegian. I’m not too sure about Swedish, but I think in that language too.

    I can tell how old my accounts are because I used the names of my deceased oscar{fish} my old cat or the varmint pictured at left.

    I’m on better terms with my late wife’s mother than with any of my blood relatives. Not all mothers-in-law are horrible.

    I just went to systranet.com and did the following Swedish to English translation:

    mormor, farfar, morfar, farmor ==>

    grandmother, grandfather, grandfather, grandmother

    So it’s the second part that controls the gender. (I love this stuff. Sorry if I’m boring you.)

    In our current male society, it would be “thanks for the mammaries”, but then, birds don’t have boobs, well, except for their politicians, just like in our culture.

    Nothing wrong with that provided you intersperse some two or three odd characters in the password such as *,% # $, lower case and upper case, etc. Otherwise, it is easy for a password testing program to just go through names and words until it finds one that works. Luckily, most sites lock you out after three wrong attempts.

    Me 2 Runar. My MIL was a peach, but I never would have thought to use her name OR nick name for a password. Good idea! Or not………

    It would have been sweet if Shoe had left off ex-wife and left it as grandmother.
