Yeah, it’s not good to go to bed with an empty stomach!!

What’s with the green beans? They’re never on my menu. Especially not today of all days. I give thanks for not having green beans.

If this is T-day dinner, where is Skylar ?

Is he ordering or telling Roz what he plans to eat and do after eating?

Nap…wake up ….eat more.

What ? No boiled onions in cream sauce ? No parsnips ? No boiled and mashed turnips ?What kind of Thanksgiving Dinner is that ?

We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving where I live, so here’s what I’m cooking for our dinner tonight:Pescado cocinados en el ajo, tomate. pimientos verdes, cebolla roja,y servido con majado, zanahorias, y arroz,( Fish cooked with garlic, tomatoes, green peppers and red onions and served with boiled mashed green banana, carrots and rice )

So, what’s wrong with salad on Thanksgiving? And while we’re at it, where is the green bean casserole?

neverenoughgold, thankfully not on my table any time of the year.

I have lived in rural Texas and Arkansas all my life. There are two foods I just cannot eat. The crap called “dressing” or “stuffing” if you are of a Northern persuasion. And the number one worst food ever is this “green bean cassarole”. I think it began showing up at holiday meals sometimes in the 1980s or so.

The Romans had the idea: reclining on couches at banquets. Just lie down and snooze if you need to.
