Perhaps the deceased is headed to that place where one needs to dress as cool as possible!

Why does the deceased have to wear a suit and tie ?

My late brother was retired and an avid sports fan. We buried him in one of his favorite polo shirts and slacks , and at the wake, had ball caps of his favorite football and baseball teams beside the casket.

    I know he’d have liked that !

Linguist said, about 20 hours ago@neverenoughgoldMy daughter has a lot of wonderful attributes but the cooking gene eluded her, but I still love her ( and her Green Bean Casserole ).

Thanks for the thoughtful post. I know not everyone likes this dish for Thanksgiving, or anytime for that matter. What I don’t understand is the simple ingredients, which are only i can condensed cream of mushroom soup (I substitute cream of celery), 1/2 cup milk, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 dash black pepper, 4 cups cooked cut green beans, and 1 1/3 cups french fried onions!

    What’s not to like?

If that were the case then mine would have to be a closed coffin !

I just want a cardboard box, and my heirs can keep all my clothing. I’m absolutely okay with naked and the box needs to be just strong enough to get me through the door into the crematorium…
