Doesn’t surprise me. Everybody’s got their noses plastered to a screen or screens. If I’m reading a book I want to feel the pages, the bindings, the heft. The hot smell of electronics has no charm like that.
I prefer reading a hard copy, too, and resisted e-readers until breaking down and buying the original Kindle a few years ago. I’ve since loaded up with 1,200 free titles downloaded from Gutenberg.org. Great for road trips. Guess I’m what the Bible calls a “double-minded man.”
