Read a story a few months back about these kids that stole a 1956 or maybe 1957 Chevy. The abandoned the car when it ran out of gas and when they was caught the admitted they didn’t know where the gas cap was. Working at a gas station in the late 60’s-early 70’s more than once I had to look under a car to see where filler tube was. 56-57 Chevys was under the left tail light. Later, they started putting the filler behind license plates. My ’66 Corvette had the gas cap right in the middle of the rear deck. Good times!!!

It also has an advanced anti-theft system. (Too old for anyone to want.)

A stolen DeSoto would stand out in the herds of mini-cars clogging the roads now.

It’s also self driving. It must be because it never goes where I steer it.

No, it isn’t a dinosaur. Dinosaurs appeared in the Mesozoic; the DeSoto is Paleozoic. Think Dimetrodon, not dinosaur.

Dinosaurs are better preserved than Cosmo’s Desoto.

Ye gods, man. Sell it and buy a Tesla.

The antitheft knob is the one that says CHOKE. The car won’t start if it isn’t set correctly.

The fact that this rust-prone vehicle hasn’t disintegrated into a pile of iron oxide makes this a miracle car.

It’s not a dinosaur, it’s vintage.
