When I was a single male, my house was a bit messy, but dirty clothes were in the hamper, dishes were washed daily, garbage was in the garbage can, and in had multiple living house plants. One was an aloe plant that actually bloomed, and I had a Venus fly trap that lived for about 5 years.
Definitely not typical. Now married, and the house is worse. But my wife is ill, and taking care of her and the house is hard. Worse when she won’t let me do things because “I dont do it good enough.”" Maybe. But right now those things arent done at all.
