Some of us don’t have a whole lot of exciting things to talk about these days. As a vulnerable older adult, I’m working from home and keeping my behind there when I’m not working, too. I wish I had a nice lap cat. Instead, I have a large dog who wants to be a lap dog and a very anti-social cat.
“Got any plans for the weekend?” “Not likely”.
“Going anywhere for vacation?” “What vacation?”
“Going out to eat?” “Not until it isn’t likely to kill me”.

Snow has much weightier things to discuss in the world than small talk,

He seems a nice, amiable cat despite the small talk. He can sit on my lap anytime.
