But . . . if the results were negative, shouldn’t he be half empty?

It is good to have an optimist doctor.

More empty promises.

And the doctor is completely full of it.

Looks like halfway to the next one to me.

The glass is full, half water and half assorted gasses.

Now go home and don’t forget to hydrate.

Great! Positive test results! ;o]

“Well, I had a good feeling about it right from the start.”

Or you’re twice as big as you should be.

“Odd – my auto mechanic said I was a quart low.”

Half full or half empty, it fully depends on its previous state; if you don’t know it, then it’s simply a half glass.

It’s all in how you read the results. The next researcher may, more accurately, divine that it’s half empty.

The glass was always full, only the contents change.

That’s only the way he sees it though…
