Time to move on, even if glacially.

I’m still looking for the tube of Crest that has fallen.

Maybe you’d feel better if you act a little boulder.

Great! Now I have to look up the etymology of ‘crestfallen’ to see if it has anything to do with hill crests.

“I dropped the toothpaste,” he said crestfallenly.

“Well, my toothpaste is missing,” he said aimlessly.

I once got a dent on the hood of my car from a small falling rock. That rock sat patiently on top of that mountain for tens of thousands of years and waited for the very moment my car passed by to commit suicide.

And you thought they had hearts of stone.

He always was too sedimentary.

That rock did fall from a crest.

There’s an idea for a new genre of music…Glum Rock.

For some reason this called to mind the old MAD comics, featuring Indians at the top of the cliff, plotting ways to push boulders down onto the wagon train. There were endless variations on the theme.

I’ll never look at a rock in the road the same way.
