Fences make enemies, and all eventually fall. Take the Berlin wall. They are only a short term solution. Consider the Great Wall of China. All walls are porous, and eventually the separated groups become one. This must be true of the US/Mexico border. Social and economic equality will eventually make the wall irrelevant. Let us hope it is in our favor. We need to bring the Mexican worker up or he will drag us down, if only by American companies giving away our jobs to their cheap labor.
