@ Bailey: In Canada, we have Thanksgiving in October (harvest being earlier in the north), so we get pumpkin pie then and more pumpkin pie after Halloween. Pumpkin goes well in soups and stews made from leftover turkey. I toss a sliced, peeled apple or three in the soup too. Turkey needs sweet veggies and fruit to enhance it.
