They are in a hurry to get to the golf course or airport.

I was assigned in Germany in the 80’s and it was accepted that the definition of nanosecond was the amount of time between the light changing and the Germany behind you blowing his horn.

I wish car horns did sound like Canada Geese. I’d probably pause at the light just to hear them.

Those guys seem to be dressed like hunters. Watch out, geese, payback is a b*tch.

I just noticed that “JUST” is in a sort of boldface. That lends credence to what xSigoff implied above, that the geese are honking impatiently the instant the light changed. Thus, he’s punning on “honking.”
