As said by others, being smart enough to know you’re not so smart is actually quite smart. So, impossible loop logic. Similar to time travel to the past; whatever you change now didn’t happen in the first place so never needed changing, impossible loop logic.
I won’t say I’m smart, but I will say “reasonably intelligent”. My problem is that I’m not an expert at anything, and it’s quite easy for me to realize how much smarter I could have been. I listen to people who are experts in their fields, or at least very well versed on the subject, and I feel as though I missed out by not continuing my education. I have no real regrets, just minor thumps to the back of my brain. So, when I get my ticket to the wayback machine, I’ll work on my education and experience. I’ll take a few good lottery numbers with me as well…

Young Percival must have a great deal of intelligence to realize what an idiot he is.
