Too bad about Michelle Bachmann. Her heart’s in the right place but her brain isn’t up to the job. I’d call her a Sarah Palin Lite, except I find even less to admire in religious-nut Palin. And I say this as a major fan of right-wing women.
She, along with Norm (Colman) and Tim (Pawlenty) are the three worst things that have happened to Minnesota in the last decade.
Hopefully, and not in any way guaranteed, I agree with her that South Dakota, North Dakota, Manitoba, Ontario, Wisconsin, and Iowa are our immediate neighbors and that Lake Superior is a big lake.
She could however easily prove that this is a unwarranted hope.
