Actually, I liked snow days when helping with the four grandkids in Wisconsin. That meant I didn’t have to get up at 6:15, prize up the laggards, make sure they didn’t choose summer clothes, and that they had hats, coats, matching socks, matching shoes, matching boots, gloves or mittens (not necessarily matching, preferably snow gloves), snow pants, as well as their back packs and enough oomph to get out the door at 7:00.
