Just out of curiosity, did Reggie Bush actually GRADUATE from USC? I mean did he get a diploma? After all he was a STUDENT - right, he did take classes, right?
@ElDo Disc Golf True, but the bowl games are over before the spring term starts. If a senior football player wanted to, he could completely blow off all classes spring term without affecting his eligibility. (Assuming, of course, that he wasn’t a red-shirt or something, so that his senior year used up his eligiblity.)
Basketball players don’t have the same option, since the season starts in fall term and continues into spring term. (Hmm. Maybe they do. Grades wouldn’t come out until after the Final Four, would they?)
Why don’t these morons at the NCAA give it up and start giving these guys the option of receiving a paycheck. Why not recognize the truth of the matter, that college football is nothing more than a minor league for the NFL.
