Since I have cable, I hadn’t noticed. But since most, if not all, the playoff teams will no doubt belong to conferences with their own broadcast networks, ESPN may disappear from this altogether. Some DVRs can already record 4 channels (might even be more, I haven’t researched this) at the same time — could be interesting to see 2 different broadcasts of the same game (something to do while the commercials are on) by the broadcast networks of the participants’ conferences.
On my home planet, we use the word “need” for important stuff, like “we need a cure for AIDS” or “we need better energy sources.” “We need a college football playoff system” is gibberish.
jmblaw. Back before I retired I used to listen to all the Tiger games on radio while at work. I can not remember the announcers name, but he was one of the very best And I would never watch baseball on TV or go to a game

The better question is: Who cares? Actually I know a lot of people care but I sure don’t. I do like the Tank comic though.

I don’t watch football. I listen to baseball on radio – theatre of the mind.
