my last trip to Korea I discovered at least 1 nation wide TV channel devoted to video games and players, along with games between pro teams. When 2 video game teams(professional) play a game in a movie theater people buy tickets to watch on the big screen, SRO crowds.Professional video game players can make a great deal of money. My son plays the Asian circuit, lives in Singapore plays in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia. Mostly without ever leaving his Condo. He does join his team when tournaments are played. He tells me that since he turned pro 6 years ago he has never made less than US$250,000 a year. I think its crazy. Like having a Rubicks cube player being a pro. Whatever, its crazy thruout Asia, I have no idea what its like in the US
