    I remember the point of this comic in another comic, too. It was about 10 years ago in a strip called “They’ll do it every time.”

    When I was younger, I used “we” more when talking about my team. Now that I’m older, I try not to say “we,” but “they.” Although if they ever win the Super Bowl, I’ll say that “we won the Super Bowl.”

    Put the NFL back in the box they escaped from. Return them to the entertainment they are supposed to be, not the social conscience they think they are.
