I heard that the crowd gave Woods an ovation as he finished the tournament. I hope that it was a farewell salute to someone who is now one of the old lions.
He finished 13 over par and, when he left the course, tied for 47th on the leaderboard.
He’s washed up, but he still has some kind of mystical hold over some of the golf fans.
