Running backs carry an inflated bladder for the noble goal of advancing it towards a chalk line on a field, they are not underpaid. It’s everyone else out there that is overpaid.

The pay is in regards to how easy it is to fill the position. The highest paid positions are those that there are much less “very good” to “great” players as compared to the number needed to fill the position for 32 teams, let alone backups. RBs happen to be a position were there are a few “great”, but new ones come into the league yearly, even available from lower rounds in the draft that are “very good”.

Supply, meet demand. There’s a 100 new RBs leaving the NCAA every year looking for jobs in the NFL.

That description could fit a few NFL teams given the way they play at times…

So if Jones played for an actual team, people wouldn’t ignore him?

I’m fixating on “postion” (center panel, bottom line). At first I was just noting the misspelling, but now I want to know what it means. It intrigues me. Thoughts? My first guess is some sort of geological feature, as in the three meter postion stood out from the rest of the canyon walls.
