Why can’t Tarzan learn from past experience (http://www.gocomics.com/tarzan/2017/10/11) about competing against bad guys? He should have foreseen the Hunter’s move.
Because he didn’t want to show cowardice in front of the natives, Ward reluctantly accepted the challenge that he display his superior strength. I’m not sure how openly cheating accomplishes that.

Then Tarzan grabs the spear from the nearest native on his right, throws it, and skewers the Hunter through the chest. The End.

Judging by Tarzan’s necklace, he’s also being forced to run into a head wind. He looks fast standing still.

Koora calls for a restart. If Ward commits another violation, he will be disqualified

There is also the nearby carnivorous plant. I don’t know if it is attracted to motion.

Ward will trip and impale himself on an arrow.
