Based on the Monday-Friday strips Tarzan is pretty accurately described as “ face of death”.

Shot with a grease gun; that’s why he slipped and fell.

Oh No! They killed Tarzan.

How stupid is Tarzan to run right into a gun? There’s drama and then there’s bad writing, though I see Jane has taken the time to change clothes.

I think that is a battery-powered air brush gun. Tarzan will end up with a nifty new ink tatoo on his chest.

The Therns are from the Martian Series. Where is he going with this thread? Back to Mars and John Carter?

Tarzan has been attacked by American Gladiators.

Might be on a stun setting. And Tarzan is in the same universe as Barsoom. And it goes back to that Martian “plant” we saw used to seed Earth with Martian animals. And of course the “Face of Death” killed it and its intelligence. Murderer!!!

My, my! How reckless of the Jungle Lord! Serves him right that the Therns cut him him down to size.

Jane still looks cute and sexy in her charming new outfit, which is not much less revealing than her former animal-skin bikini. I wonder if the Therns will take her, along with the stunned Face of Death?
