Luckily, the only thing that kept that horn from ripping into Tarzan’s skull and brain was the fact that Tarzan is the hero of this strip and can’t die.

Wonder if that’ll leave a mark? We should be able to tell since Tarzan never wears a shirt.

Over the years, after so many shots to the head, Tarzan starts making poor decisions, such as, “Hold your fire. We’ll go after him later.”

Dying buffalo knocks out Tarzan, but Piggy-Fatboy Pomeroy will shoot anyone that tries to help him. Those native bearers will drop like flies leaving porky swine Pomeroy to drag all of those trophy boxes across the veldt……Umgowa!!

Let’s all hold our breath and pray that Tarzan comes to before Lord Pomeroy has a chance to shoot Tarzan!

…and the horn broke off against the granite-like skull. The bull sank to the ground and Tarzan shrugged it off.
