Man: Third parties can't win. I'm not wasting my vote. Woman: Third parties can't win because everyone thinks that. What if people stopped voting "strategically," without worrying about wasting their vote on a loser? Then a third party could win. What about you? If other voters took a chance on us, and we took a chance on us, and we gained support, and we finally had a real chance to win? Would you support us then? Man: No! $#@%!! pre-sellouts.
What if third-party advocates grew up, learned how the system works before they try to overthrow it, and ran more credible, hard-working candidates for local and state offices rather than staking everything on running some ridiculous Don Quixote for president.
