The transpacific partnership is Obama's new "free trade agreement" with Asian countries. (Barack Obama: The TPP has the potential to be a model for future trade agreements) It's top secret unsurprisingly, because it's being drafted by corporate lobbyists. (Woman: What happens if 700 special-interest lobbyists type up a trade deal? Let's find out!) Environmentalists are locked out, unsurprisingly, because the environmental provisions are weak and toothless. Among other atrocities, asian countries can keep "finning" cutting the fins off sharks and throwing them back into the ocean to die. This kills 100 million sharks a year. Perhaps Obama will get what he deserves after he dies.
