The Turkish Van breed of cat does like water. They are known to jump into swimming pools (filled with water) and take a relaxing swim.

My kit joins me in the shower almost every time. She didn’t start doing it until she was 17.

This one is hilarious! I wish I could get my cats in water, could when they were little. Mittens will sit on the edge of the tub though. Until I start splashing her. :-D

Everyone in NorthCa OK after the quake? What a rude awakening at 3:20 am! We got a long shake but no damage.

I had a Maine Coon who would stand in the bathtub as it filled and drink the hot water! Crazy!

Actually most cats are fine with water they just don’t like being forced into it. It’s just a stereotype that all cats hate water at all times.
