Love the pictures, guys!Onyx wants to come home something fierce, but the Vet says not yet! I’m the same way when I’m in the hospital. as soon as I start to feel better…I want to leave. NOW!!!

Poodle says, “Just a few more hours Dad, Please?”We had about 90% of the money together to get Watty Jr. to the vet to get him checked out and fixed.It’s been 3 days, and he has not returned. I checked the road first, and look 4 times a day for him as my delivery route takes me past our home 4 times a day.His bed now sits empty on the porch, save for a few pre-fall season dead leaves.Mama Taffy has decided she wants to be an indoor/outdoor cat suddenly so we let her in hope it may bring Jr. back. Aunt Watty, (the Jrs. mom) is still around, I actually caught her in the cat bed.We have a Coyote problem in my county and even though we have not heard any we think that’s what may have happened.We have a few toms around also and that is a possibility. Our neighbor who died last month, has 7-9 cats she hoarded. Her very irresponsible daughter has been letting them out, as we have seen them around the property, as we have seen them feeding on our porch.I feel bad for them, as I’ve been told by numerous tenants and her friends, that the mom’s catties supposedly have herpes and Fe-luke. If it gets worse, I’m afraid I’ll have to call Animal Control on them.We miss Jr. very much, and I think Roy Batty misses seeing him around.

Oh, A_Dream4u! What bad and sad news. I know what it means a cat doesn’t come home. Not to know what happened to him or her, hurts so much and is nerve wracking. You feel so helpless only hope and prayers may help. I wish with all my heart that Jr. will find his way home to you.

Athletic cat!

Big Man is doing a bit better today. He hasn’t thrown up at all since early yesterday, and he’s eating and purring and asking for fuss. He’s asleep on the bed right now. I’m wondering if it isn’t something to do with his mouth, where he had a couple of teeth out last month. I might try giving him some feline anti-inflammatory meds with food a bit later.

I think this cat has been through this many times before, just love the shower cap!

I think Chesney could do with another couple of hours….

I think I just about got this ‘code thing worked out! here is one of my ’kids’…ddeeooggeee (D.O.G)

I want to thank everyone for “the code” I have been trying for about a month to get the ‘kinks’ worked out..a lot of frustration, and sore fingers, but I got it! I want to take this time to give everyone prayers, that are going through medical problems. I have been a silent reader of T.C. for about 6 months. been on A-max for about 3 years….I will be posting from time to time..Have a good evening.

Loved all of the plant cats as well as the sleepy ones.

Had a very sad situation today.We had to pick up a kitten from the shelter and make an emergency trip up to Best Friends because he could not walk, or pee or anything. (this is a 3 hour round trip) Got a call when we got back that his pelvis was crushed and something else so they had to let him go. Susan is very upset but I have to look at it that he’s no longer in pain.

Before we took him up there, we called the local ER clinic. Today is a state holiday in UT so everything (except federal offices) is closed – like the vet offices.

The ER place said that because it’s a holiday. it would be $95 just to walk in the door. That is nearly double what it usually is. Xrays would be $200 – again, nearly double.

I’m just appalled at that! Those people are playing with peoples emotions and holding them hostage. It’s outrageous!

So we called and appealed to Best Friends.

I have Tux for the weekend. This was a foster that I had a month or so ago who got a wonderful home. His new mom and dad wanted to go away for the weekend but didn’t want to leave him with the pet sitter because he doesn’t know her. So I agreed he could stay here. He’s hiding under the chair and I don’t expect to see him until tomorrow.

@A_Dream4UI am PRAYING and PRAYING that Watty Jr Jr will show up. When I had outdoor/indoor cats that was my worse fear. Once, Pierre got stuck in a neighbor’s garage while they went on vacation for a week. The cat’s natural curiosity got him in trouble that way twice. Plus some neighbors decided that they liked Pierre SO much he was welcome in their house anytime. He had his own room. When I asked them not to feed him or bring him inside they continued…so Pierre became an exclusive indoor kitty until he passed in 1994. Since my Marcel passed in 1997 I only have indoor cats with access to a fenced in back porch. I know just how you feel. Damn.
