Well, after over 9 months of struggling to figure out what’s going on with my Dabdoob (black kitty in my avatar), and THREE different vet clinics (4/5 different vets, probably a total of 10-12 different office visits), ONE nutritionist consultation, and ONE Internal Medicine Specialist, we FINALLY have an answer about his poo’ing issues (he started avoiding the litter box, and while we pretty much have that sorted out now by putting him in a giant kennel with 2 litter boxes when it’s time to potty, he is still super-distressed every single time he needs to poo). He has hernias, and needs to have surgery to fix them. My poor little boy, it’s entirely possible he was born with this issue – he’s been crying when he potties since he was a kitten. I really really really hope this will work, and he will no longer be distressed every time he has to do what should be a normal bodily function.
