Good morning, everyone. Cute pics this morning.

Mama

Two of the babies look alike except for thier noses. One had a cream bit on the tip and the other has more cream on her face.

I took all babies out while mama was eating this morning. They look orange because they were under the lights.

Do the mouse…

No. I was never a big fan of his.

@Queen….will mama and babies also be ‘chipped’. Chris could pay for it (won’t hurt to ask him). Such a beautiful furry family. Thanks to all of you rescuers, fosterers, etc. Hope your body (and Dr Susan’s) are recovering from that heat during the sales efforts.Don’t trip over Moose, as he must be hovering by the kitten door constantly…bless him.All the musical mouse pics are adorable!!!!

I was in there a little while ago to top off mamas’ crunchy bowl. While she ate, I took out all of the babies for kisses. Mama just doesn’t care. She finished up and wanted petties so put the babies back. She finally went in and one tortie escaped. She came out, watched it walk around but made no attempt to carry it back to the cube. After a bit, I put her back in.

Mama kitty and the spay confusion story:

When she was found, Susan took her to the vet to have her belly shaved to see if she’d been fixed.

The vet said he THOUGHT he saw an incision but was not sure. He said that if she got adopted, to tell the new owner to watch her to see if she went into heat. IF she did, he would fix her right away.

Chris only had her 2 weeks before she got out so never had a chance to know if she went into heat. That’s why we have babies now.

We know this because Susan found the paperwork at the shelter with all of her notes on it.

They’re all adorable. My cousin just picked up her latest fosters this afternoon. There are two girls and a boy. One girl is gray tabby and the other is gray and white, with a white splodge on her back. The boy is black, but looks like he may have a white spot on his chest – and he has two white toes on his hind leg. The gray and white girl is the bravest.
