Hey Happy, I just read a study where Oregon is in the top ten for healthiest states. Here’s where I am confused. On the plus side it states that falls and hip fractures are low. On the minus side, it says there is a high prevalence of chronic drinking. Do you guys use extra thick carpet pad, or what?

Here’s another puzzler. Texas ranks 41. Plus side: Poor mental health days down 24%. Minus side: Chronic drinking up 59%. Draw your own conclusions.

Great stuff as always everyone. Going to be hot in California’s central valley for another week! Temps reach well over 100, like 109 and 110 to be seen. So, ice chips in the water dishes for everyone!! Even for the Siamese who likes to take them out and play with them. He still can’t figure out why they vanish?

Yes, cats should be indoors!! Nothing I can do about my feral colony, just try to keep them safe from dogs etc. Lost 5 to pit bulls in the last month. The owner of the pit bull was “sorry”, don’t know how her dog got out? Animal control advised, but are not very helpful.

We are currently fostering a semi blind “Tabico” (calico-tabby) called Cinnamon. He is a bit onery, but a lover too.

OK, now this is strange, tried to save the image to Photobucket, and all I got was the “Image does not exist” image saved. It must be a cache thing. Anyway, I was able to save the image to my PC and upload it to Photobucket from there. ’m guessing this will be a big anti-climax now, but here is the image I was trying to post.
