I wonder if Jack realizes that indoor cats live 9 to 12 years longer than outdoor cats………..really!

Good morning, everyone. Nice pics today.

Fed a baby lion once. Precious, cuddly, just wanted to take him home but realized shortly he would get really, really big. Settled for a stuffed lion toy. It is precious, cuddly and not as dangerous.

Possibly most exclusively outdoor cats have short lives. Our old boy who was a hybrid indoor/outdoor cat (he’d vanish for weeks at a time – he definitely didn’t have another home he was visiting – lived to the ripe old age of 22. He was the roughest, toughest cat we ever knew. And the best one we ever knew.

No catitude today. No censored cussing. Nothing on topic, as usual. Slim pickings from my sources on the old interwebs. Enjoy.

This sums up my disgust at the quality of the US’s two presidential candidates.

DennisinSeattle, the sixth picture down, the one you posted of the yellow and white and the black and white kitties. The black and white one looks very similar to my little Blackie, one of the bros found under our Catalpa tree that youngest son and I bottle fed, etc. I really need to get my kitties pictures posted here. :-)

Hi Dude!

I went to the shelter this morning.They had three kittens for me to play with. I got permission to take a couple of photos.One of the kittens was a bit overly aggressive towards the other smaller kittens so he was in a room of her own.An absolutely charming little devil. Im sure that he won’t be there long.In the photos he is the one that is a blur…

And the other two are siblings.Both were born with short tails with knots on the end of the tails.Otherwise very friendly and playful.

I’m sure that all three will be adopted out fast.
