Ten Cats by Graham Harrop for December 17, 2016

Well the rest of the cats finally woke up to her predicament! I hope they can help her more than they hinder her. Surely they all have the best intentions.

It’s good to see the cats caring for her now that they realize that Annie is sick. But what is she doing in the corner? There’s nothing like a pile of cats to help keep a person warm. Take it from someone who can’t sit and watch TV in the winter without a bunch of cats on my lap. It’s rare that I don’t have a cat on my lap and I have had as many as 5 cats on me at one time, It gets toasty warm under a pile of cats like that!

Mornin, Ladykat. I am off to bed now.

Got around 6" of snow overnight, with another 8 – 10" expected later today. Blech.

This kitty begged and begged his human to let him outside. From his expression, I’d say he has come to the realization that he was better off inside.

This is one of two ways that cats let you know they want to be fed. The other way is that they start talking to you. “meow, meow, meow.” Which works with you? Personally, the staring method gets to me.

If I were sick I’d like nothing better than a pile of kitties on top of me.

I got out the heating pad last week and I haven’t been able to use it since. The five cats and dog rotate turns on it and somehow I’m never allowed a turn. At least I get 1 or 2 cats when I sit in the recliner while they are warming their selves on the pad. I didn’t even get it plugged in before one of the boys was on it. The things we do for our furry children.

It’s snowing here……….again.

I guess the experts were right about global warming,,,Longer colder winters, shorter hotter summers. Its 21 degrees F. Bring on the short and hot!!!

Chaos this morning! Apparently the Juncos didn’t learn from the near miss and one was on the deck when I let the boys back out this morning. Dean was a little faster this time and caught it by the tail feathers before I could get it out. I managed to make him let it go before he did any harm to it and it promptly flew off much to Dean’s chagrin. He’s very annoyed with me right now, I guess I’m going to have to get some more netting to attach to the lattice and prevent any further incidents. Good thing I was able to stop Sammy from coming out after it, they’re quite the tag team when they hunt bugs.
