Liebe Graham Crackers, dear Friends and dear Mr. Harrop!
Thank you so much for all your sympathy and empathy, for your good thoughts, for your healing wishes, and for your helpful prayers. My dear friends, you are so special to me, you mean so much to me… one word: family!
As you know I am home since a week, but I still need help with my wounds. Unfortunately the wounds are so close to my stoma, that I need also the help to affix my stoma bag (which I normally was able to do by myself). But to get the wounds sterile the sozial nurses had to take care of my stoma too. No, I do not feel as well as I did in former times. I still have hurts and I cannot go shopping or into a café for sipping my coffee. It will take time till my wounds are healed. But there is hope, my doc told me yesterday, “Have patience, that is the best healer”.
Yeah, and this is what I am doing now: waiting ..oh there is a song of my be loved songwriter Leonard Cohen: “Waiting for the miracle to come.” It is really hard for a person to wait who is usually impatient like me!
And now here at GoComics we also have to wait for Graham’s next strip! Where are the sweet cats? Graham? Is all well with you? Please come back!
